What information is collected
Through this website, information is collected in three ways:
Information you provide directly. If you complete the contact form, I collect your name, email address, organisation (optional), and the content of your message. If you email me directly, I hold that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. The website is hosted on Squarespace, which collects standard technical data about visitors: IP address, device type, browser, referring page, and pages viewed. This is used for basic website analytics and security.
Information provided during engagements. If you become a client or engage AmEliz in any advisory or mentoring capacity, additional information will be collected as needed to deliver the work. Any such collection will be covered by a separate engagement letter.
Why the information is used
Information is used for the following purposes:
To respond to enquiries you have made
To conduct professional engagements you have commissioned
To maintain proper business records (including for tax, accounting and regulatory purposes)
To improve the website and understand how visitors use it
To comply with legal obligations

How long information is kept
Website enquiries not resulting in engagement — kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
Client engagement records — kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, in line with UK tax and professional record-keeping requirements.
Website analytics data — kept in line with Squarespace's retention policies.
Your rights

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
